Seat cushion is quite hard. Former cushion was much softer and more comfortable.Well built and seems like it will wear well. Just got it this summer so time will tell. So far so good.I purchased this seat in March of 2022 for a pontoon boat build which is not yet complete. I have taken the boat out for sea trials on 15 occasions, not fishing. My body weight is 173 pounds and the boat is used on a fresh water lake (not ruff seas). The back rest has all but fallen off because of the bolts being screwed into a plastic seat pan. The price point of $275 is a total waste of money. The seat is not as advertised as far as durability is concerned. I never write reviews on anything I purchase except for this. Consumer beware!!!!! I dont find ANY warrenty information on this item much less a customer service phone number so i guess its just up to the customer to eat the loss. This is for a crappie fishing buisiness on the number 2 lake in Texas, Lake Sam Rayburn. I promise I will not run my guide service like this…#thisfishermanispissedQuality of chair is great. Wish I could find chair cover for it. Any suggestions
